This vase is thrown on the wheel in Bennetts filtered stoneware clay, and carved at the leather hard stage. It has been glazed in a silky white that bring out the natural speckle in the clay and accentuates the texture. The shape is tapered, with a wider base to give extra stability.
This piece makes a great vase, or a lovely utensil holder for the most used things next to your stove.
